I learned / practiced / showed off my grammar skills today. Dad downloaded some grammar apps and said ‘If you learn everything here, then you’ll be a grammar genius’ and started a quiz on one of them. I got 19/20 questions right and the app gave me a ton of badges. I don’t know if Dad knew how good at it I was.

Next, Dad started another quiz (which I did really well on too) and another (same) and finally he said, ‘OK. This next quiz is an “Idioms” quiz. You’re going to have trouble with this,’ or something along those lines.

I got 16/19.

After that, Dad tried another app which was focused on vocabulary instead of grammar. I did a short quiz (where I already knew 4 of the 5 words already) and then the daily challenge. I came 14th on the leaderboard, with 82%.

Dad really didn’t know how good at grammar I am.
